Religious Society of Friends is another name. I was brought up Quaker and am still near it physically and spiritually: There are at least 4 meeting houses within 20 minutes of me. 3 of my coworkers are Quaker. Plus Earlham college in the next town over. It's not the same thing as Shaker or Amish.
