Where in rural Arizona? We live in Arizona and it seems when we leave Tucson, rural is right wing o'rama!

This was an excellent review. I understand Arizona Opera is up against challenges and open to new, cost saving measures, and thank goodness we have Arizona Opera. But Saturday's performance was very rough. I'm glad we saw it, no regrets, but I think your gentle criticism hit just the right note.

I can't get rid of Facebook. I am way too invested in following friends and family and there is no alternative platform.

We were Amazon cultists. So ashamed. So much free shipping out there once you break out of the Amazon zombie universe.

And we think Prime is the only way to get free shipping. We are finding lots of free shipping. Even though we are waiting for March 15 to make it official, we are no longer ordering from Amazon and loving all of the free shipping we are finding. We were Amazon cultists and zombies!

Will most definitely. Glad to know to look for it!

And we get convinced that we can't live without them. I feel so pathetic that I had to think through it. We should have canceled immediately when he got rid of Amazon Smiles.

So are we all! Good for you for figuring our it was time to cancel way before we did. We should have when he got rid of Smiles! The great tip off of what was to come.

Yes! I got tricked. I ordered from Abe books and the book came in an Amazon envelope!

I always check Pima County Library for my ebooks before I buy. It's an awesome service.

I had Kindle long before I was a Prime member, same with watching movies on Amazon.
I am going to work harder to return to the Barnes and Noble Nook for reading and Brit Box and Peacock, etc for viewing.

There are definitely other, earlier dates that would have been better.

We think it is more powerful to have a unified moment, in a more symbolic way.

I figured a type-o was involved, but thought I'd check!

Avoiding impulse buying will be a huge additional plus!

You renewed?
March 2, 2025 at 9:18 PM
Our family is canceling our Amazon Prime membership on March 15 (Ides of March) and hope that others will join us.  We doubt that Bezos will understand the symbolism of that date, but we will know that we are no longer subsidizing despotism.

Thank you for letting us know. We listened carefully to the end, and I cried for our country. David's words were perfect, and I hope he still has a job tomorrow. Brutal, ugly moment we are in. Hopefully just a moment.
