This YA mystery I'm beta reading is SO GOOD! I'm having so much fun and teenage me would've loved it.
When cooking I'm either "I scoured the Internet for the perfect recipe to make this from scratch. Took time to mise en place & follow it accurately to the tenth of a gram" or "I didn't taste it at all, just threw a bunch of stuff in a pan, so if it's bad... Oops." There is no in-between.

We're probably clear when it comes to freezing temps, but we have multiple sub-50° F nights in the next 10 days and my tomato plants are not happy about it (and honestly, same).

Every year I file my photography business taxes and am reminded that you get what you put into it, and if you don't put in any effort to advertise your services you get nothin'.

I don't have the words to express how much I love when authors I've beta read for rehire me for other projects. Their trust in my work and my desire to help means the world to me.

Thank goodness, I hurt less than yesterday. After spending yesterday at an 8 I will not complain about being at a 5.

I was planning on being productive today, but my right shoulder feels like it is violently separating itself from my body & the pain is making me nauseous 🙃

I feel like all the double reeds players I know are so precise about reeds and things, while I'm just making things up as I go, hoping no one realizes I'm a buffoon with a bassoon.

Fiverr has tanked my account and I can't fix it. Why is my success score a 4 b/c of satisfaction and communication when I have all 5 star reviews & a 100% response rate? They won't even let me pay to promote my gig so I'm getting no new clients. I may have to give up on beta reading & it's bogus.

My unopened can of soda fell off my counter and exploded, covering the floor, splattering everywhere, and getting into 2 cupboards. I'm going back to bed and starting over tomorrow.
