I love the bus! And we're lucky - there is an hourly one from our village to town (not where the main school is), though it's £6 return, so no wonder most people drive. More buses please!

Totally! First bus into town on a Sunday arrives after the shops open, so useless for young workers. County music service is opposite end of the county, un-reachable. Local secondary has a school bus - but miss it to take part in a club, and you're stranded. Our children are second-class citizens!

Wow. Online was (and is) my saviour when I was first writing. I’ve done in-person courses and they can be great. But an online novel course meant I could take part despite: exhaustion; care duties; little money; living rurally. Total lack of empathy there. I’d beware. Yours sounds fabulous!
