You've got to be in it, to win it! Victory to all of us who think we will never be good enough to win a sporting trophy. I still run slow but I am enjoying it which counts... compared to me in the 90s hating cross country at school. Just shows by turning up we have a chance 🏆 #run #runningcommunity

Today I have:
1. set a meeting to get the ball rolling with thematic analysis of interview data that I transcribed (took wayyyy longer than anticipated)
2. Started writing a proposal on a new project - is this a sign of madness when I haven't completed the above? #academicsky #noviceresearcher

Good morning! I started today with a windswept 10km with my fellow nursing academic Aisling. We share an office and now we are spending our free time going on runs together 😅 #run #running #10km

Thoughts very much with those at my old University today. Hard to put into perspective just how integral Cardiff Uni is to the economy and prosperity of the city and wider region. All of the course closures are saddening but the nursing decision seems especially flabbergasting & least tenable.

I started 2025 with a bang 🏃
Seef Mall Half Marathon: 2hr30
I only resumed running late Sept 24 & coincidently Sept was the month I stopped drinking. In that period I have done a 5km, 10km, a relay, 4km, 16km trail desert race. I may not be the fastest but I am proud of my achievements! #run

I have finished this. The book survived being soaked by an unscrewed water bottle & spent 5 days drying over Xmas in the in-laws airing cubboard. Entertaining read and the second Hawthorne story I have read (out of sequence). I didn't work out the killer 8/10
