Is it just the screen grab, or does he not look that great? He looks like Mike Dukakis to me here. Maybe it's hard to bullshit for this administration and it's taking a toll.
I thought I had lost my glow-in-the-dark t-shirt from 1993, but I found it in a bag in the attic a couple of years ago and now I wear it to concerts. The glow-in-the-dark paint faded years ago and doesn't work. I saw someone in the same shirt at a concert a few years ago, which was a thrill!
I am proud/embarrassed to say that I have seen him so many times that I had to google what other people reported about it at concerts! Looks like it was 2022 maybe?
Once when I saw him, they got all the way to the donuts section, pretended to lose track of the song, and then started the entire song again from scratch. It was absolutely glorious.
After the fact, Mike and Chuck Rocha both thought that all the MSG event might have done was claw back a small percentage of voters who had otherwise abandoned voting D. It wasn't going to be nearly enough.
His main thrust - that Dems have been losing Latino voters for decades and that small shifts back were not going to be enough - still stands. (And gives me nightmares.)
Yeah on election day he was very optimistic. He wrote a very heartfelt apology later that week and said he'd been swayed by all the people saying that white women were *definitely* going to do the right thing this time, and that he shouldn't have ignored the data and his gut.
How I grew up making it in our bank-present toaster oven: On Top Brown, heat until the top layer darkens and puffs up. Peel it off with a fork, put it back in while you eat the crispy hardened cheese, and do it again until the cheese is all gone.
I have heard her make that point multiple times in Bulwark podcasts (based on what she hears from so many focus groups) and it is frustrating, bc I think so much of it is based on the info environment. I cannot wait to watch this session.
