Everton scored goals at Goodison last season where the 1st wasn’t a free kick due a blatant dive and the 2nd was a blatant push in additional time added on. They also had the most blatant red card not given at Anfield. But please, tell me more how refs favour Liverpool in Derby games #LFC

Newcastle pulled Isak from all the promo shots with the new kit? Doesn’t seem like something they would do if they were confident of him staying.
July 29, 2025 at 12:13 PM
United are not in for Sesko, they simply can’t afford him. Newcastle potentially being spooked into action to get that deal done quickly.

Quite funny how non-Liverpool fans seem to think we’ll miss Diaz. We won’t. He was inconsistent and for a winger, wasn’t good at beating his man. He wasn’t the same after his knee injury and not a patch on Manè.

Newcastle fans saying that Isak should stay and go next summer to a club in Europe. Which club would that be? Barca can’t afford him, Bayern wouldn’t touch that fee either. PSG don’t need him and Real don’t pay huge transfer fees for older players anymore.

I’m sure part of the agreement with Newcastle on Isak is that our journalists don’t stoke things up at all. Aside from confirming interest, they’ve all been suspiciously quiet on the matter.

Talk of Ibou getting offered a new deal. As I said, I just couldn’t see the market for him. Madrid have Rudiger, Asencio, Militao, Huijsen and Alaba. They’d rather wait on Saliba in a free in 2 years than Ibou next year.
PSG moving for Zabarnyi doesn’t suggest they have a long term plan to sign Konate when they have Pacho as well. Madrid more likely to wait for Saliba, if he doesn’t sign in the next 6 months I can’t see him staying at Arsenal. I’m not sure if Ibou does leave. #LFC

God they are so predictable.
Bayern will offer a pittance for Diaz. We know they have their Wirtz fund burning a hole in their pockets. Like we said to Barca, show us the colour of your money #LFC

Newcastle finding out that clubs don’t want to help out in any way. If you want to be one of the big boys, get used to paying the premium. If only they had a valuable asset who could fetch a large fee.

Guehi fee is going to be really interesting. Palace can’t afford to let him run his contract down the way they did with Zaha. Parish can be a pain to deal with but if Guehi says it’s Liverpool or no one then it strengthens our hand. #LFC

Is Wirtz the most exciting attacking signing in the league since Hazard?

Rohit and Virat react seeing the scorecard and the flat pitch #EngvInd

Lewis Steele linking us with Lukeba this morning. It’s incredible how he hasn’t been linked with anyone after lots of hype. Red Bull asking for too much so suitors walking away? He’s left footed so not sure we’d spend big money on him. #LFC

Guehi deal is an interesting one. Parish is a pain to negotiate with but if the player stresses he wants to come us then it strengthens our hand. Unless of course it triggers Newcastle into action. #LFC

Already tired of this Ibou contract saga. Clearly it’s going to be his last big contract and his agent is justifiably seeing what else is out there. If he’s not signing then sell or refuse to pick him. Club has to send out a message to the players. It’s a World Cup year, he won’t risk sitting out.
June 16, 2025 at 8:35 AM
Only Liverpool could suck all the joy out of making huge signings like Wirtz and Kerkez.
June 11, 2025 at 10:06 AM
So the compromise will be a fee €140m. Both parties save face with Leverkusen not relenting to the first offers and Liverpool being seen to drive them down from €150m.

Club being smart with the ‘Diaz not for sale’ statement. Barca won’t get him on the cheap (which of course they will try for) and if Saudi want him, be prepared to pay what we want, not what you want.
June 4, 2025 at 11:07 AM
Not a chance a deal was going to be agreed whilst Germany have these Nations League games going on. I suspect we’ll hear an agreement has been found on Thursday or Friday regardless of the result on Wednesday. ‘Wirtz will now travel to England next week for medical etc’ is what we’ll be told #LFC
June 2, 2025 at 11:02 AM
Lots of posturing going on. Liverpool don’t want to appear to be a club who will simply fold on an asking price and Leverkusen definitely don’t want to appear to be a soft touch when selling a star player. #Wirtz #LFC

Seen lots saying everyone just ‘allowed’ PSG to have a free run at Kvara. They had the deal done and agreed in the summer but Napoli wouldn’t sell. If he’d showed any interest in going elsewhere then it might have happened.

So the first £10m of Frimpong is offset by the Trent fee. Diaz could finance the bulk of the Wirtz deal. Still have Elliot and Nunez at least to go too. Easy to see how we could finance a big move for Alvarez or Ekitike.
May 30, 2025 at 7:57 PM
If the club manage to get £80m for Diaz then of course you take it. A good player who could be very good on his day but never touched the heights of Manè. Ngumoha also needs a pathway to the first team, if we think he’s going to be special.
