I was watching protests on Sunday or Monday and Nick Sorter (another one of them) was starting fights with people. He was just released from jail for starting fights last week. Then he's on the news crying that he can't even walk down a street without getting attacked by leftists.

The only thing that's going to protect us from a bad guy with free speech is a good guy with free speech. You can't just ban free speech because people will just engage in it anyway and it won't stop the bad guys anyway. You need to make it ubiquitous to protect everybody.

The footage of them out of Portland has been enlightening. 100-200 leftist protestors peaceably assemble, shout mean things. ICE responds like they're in 1993 Somalia, & scurry back to their building. Then a dozen Portland bike cops roll by with minimal gear, unbothered by the jeering crowd.
