Yes! All of our leadership training starts with multiple sessions of soft skills. Not only for new managers, but is reinforced every time someone moves up to the next level of management.

Hint: Gonna be Zelda related, maybe even a korok or two 😄

That is a confusing decision, especially in modern gaming.

Nice! Such a cool display!

I will give it that it had some really good cinematography and some solid sequences. But a series of well shot sequences does not a make a cohesive story.

It could have been I just didn't like the entire premise of Brightburn. But when my husband described it as evil Superman, it was not at all what I expected - I did not expect a child, nor did I feel that it was bad superhero over just wannabe monster movie.

For reference of horror I like - The Fall of the House of Usher, most of Cabinet of Curiosities, Scream, and I didn't mind the Shining. I haven't seen a lot of the classics (both pop culture icons and old monsters movies), and more psychological ones I shy away from (gets to me too much).

Brightburn (movie, 2019)

It was eh. I didn't like it, but I typically don't like horror (there are ones I do, but not my go to genre). Plot felt meh, I liked the parents characterization the most, but overall it didn't land at all. I felt like some things were just dropped and the rest didn't work.

I want people to engage with something they found thought-provoking, not just present to provoke the thought. I've been watching a lot of Jimmy Robbins on YT recently, and he excels on going into the why and engaging with the ideas - both exploring his thoughts and the relevant audience perspective.

All in all, it's good to be back to Sparks. Luigi's Mansion will happen soon. And I'm so excited to do more!
December 1, 2025 at 6:56 PM
I had been contemplating not finishing Sparks and just moving on to the next series, but I'm glad I stuck with it and went back to it. I needed that mental shift from Echoes for the re-invigoration of Sparks and the YouTube channel. Else, I would've not met my fave character.

Well fun, and trying to help me get through my backlog. That's why I started the channel. And yes, upload and streaming schedules are sporadic, but I work full time, so if I'm not having fun, it becomes a chore. And that's not what I want for the channels.
December 1, 2025 at 6:56 PM
That mindset that I have with streams to just explore and have fun with it, was what I was missing with Sparks. My channels are my place to relax and chill. Yes, I have plans for both channels and am trying to find a more structured schedule. But at the core, it's all for fun.

My commentary is still there, still chatting along with the game, but I'm able to just go back in and enjoy playing it. I was starting to get caught up with producing a "perfect" presentation of the game that's balanced with side quests and story, instead of just enjoying and exploring the game.
