(NOTE: it was not a straight party line vote.)

A few R Senators (Drazkowksi, Duckworth and Limmer) VOTED YES for Transparency

And a few DFL Senators (Frentz, Hauschild, Klein, Kupec and Rest) VOTED NO against transparency

The Richest People on Earth don’t want us to know how much taxpayer subsidies they’re getting or what they’re doing to our environment. The Senate almost voted prevent Big Tech from hiding behind Non-Disclosure Agreements. But it failed on a tie. Look who voted for transparency & who didn’t! #mnleg

@governorwalz.mn.gov please bring your campaign trail rhetoric back to MN. Repeal the data center tax exemptions cost our state hundreds of millions while making big tech billionaires even richer.

@governorwalz.mn.gov
Please bring what you're saying on the national stage to MN:
Don't cut programs that serve people for tax breaks to billionaires.
Repeal the data center sales tax exemptions benefiting
--> the richest people on earth <--

Taxpayer subsidies for the _Richest People on Earth_ are now being negotiated behind closed doors. Since the public isn’t invited, we shared some thoughts at the Capitol complex last night... #mnleg

Bird Flu is spreading across the nation and putting the country in danger.

The Trump administration response is to fire USDA microbiologists fighting the disease.

We are using every tool available to us to stop them.

China is electrifying faster than any other economy in the world. It has correctly apprehended that electricity is the future and the country that gets there first & develops the best electrification tech will win the 21st century.

The US is held back in this race by its domestic O&G industry.
Why China is leading the global switch to electricity
In 2024, electricity made up 28% of China's total final energy consumption. That's comfortably ahead of the US (22%) and the EU (21%).

Thank you, Rep. Athena Hollins, for asking for answers.
@AthenaHollins asked great questions about real job numbers, alternative tech & why should we let them skirt environmental laws? She also asked Amazon to speak up, but they would not, even though their lobbyist was IN THE ROOM. Will Amazon testify at the next hearing? #mnleg

Why is Minnesota giving tax breaks to the wealthiest corporations in the world for using huge amounts of our land, water, and electricity to host data centers?
Elon Musk & other Big Tech bullies want to have their way with the Federal Govt. They also want our money through state governments. Fortunately, this is a fight we can win! Minnesota is ready to push back. #mnleg #no$4TechBros

I'm at the Senate hearing on Lee Zeldin's nomination for @EPA, where he just promised to spend all EPA funds appropriated by Congress & affirmed that only Congress can cut EPA's budget. This matters bc/ Congress rejected Trump's EPA cuts in 1st term but Trump's OMB pick wants to "traumatize" EPA.

Our State Senator must represent the whole district. That means showing up. In the last few days, I personally doorknocked voters in 9 big buildings in Cedar Riverside, working to earn people’s votes. I’ve met parents of kids who go to school with my kids at Pratt school. (1/3) #mnleg
