Today was the harvest fair that takes place every year in the town where I work. My boss asks us to help out taking shifts at the booth interacting with the public and representing our vet hospital. We have 7 employees and 2 doctors. Not counting my boss, only 3 of us helped. Lazy fuckers.

I'm so confused. It's October 3rd. Why did I just see a friend of mine post pictures of her kids getting ready for a Trunk or Treat? What the hell is wrong with people? Number 1 - Trunk or Treats kill all the fun of Halloween. Number 2 - it's only the 3rd!!!!

Still rewatching Turn: Washington's Spies and I always did wish Major Hewlett would have just decided to be a sweet gentleman fishing on the Setauket docks. Obviously, since he was a real person, that's not possible, but Burn Gorman made him almost lovable.

Had a dream last night that a client was giving me a hard time about a $21 nail trim on his ancient decrepit dog we hadn't even seen for so long we thought it was deceased. This is seriously the kind of things that happen in vet med.

Why would ANYONE think they can just walk out of the vet without paying when the receptionist is busy helping other people??? Owner picking up from a dental procedure and when the tech brought up the dog he's like "ok thanks!" and just walks out.
