I was just thinking of Mike Johnson’s comment that the republicans have the narrowest of margins in the house and that’s forcing him to basically do nothing for the American people. Why don’t he alternative and actually work with the Dems and come up with bipartisan legislation to help people.

Played out in the ocean today. Didn’t swim, didn’t surf, didn’t wake board, didn’t paddle board, just let myself get knocked around by the waves. It felt wonderful to just have simple FUN.

Just finished a week long bicycle trip across MO on the Katy Trail. It was refreshing not to constantly hear what is going on. My biggest concern wasn’t just getting to the next overnight town without any bike problems. It was refreshing.

I got my 50th, yes 50th high school reunion tonight. I’m curious to see how everyone has aged. I’m not going to be grading on a 10 scale, I’m just curious to see how life has treated my fellow classmates.

I was planning a vacation and got to wondering what causes us to take pictures to remember our travels and hardly ever look at our phones after the photo is taken.

Just had a thought. Seems like the conservatives are posting about life in the 50s. How everything was affordable and you could own a car, a house, send your kids to college for cheap. You know why that is? Tax rates on highest earners was 91%, Corporate tax rate were 42%. Let’s bring them back!

Was just thinking, what if every broadcasting company brought a civil lawsuit against the government for 1st ammendment violations. If they each brought them individually, then the government would have to litigate each one separately and it would take years in court and tie up White House lawyers

I was just thinking about the immigration issues and how the government is rounding up all the illegal immigrants and the justification for any mistreatment is solely based on that they are illegal. It’s like not helping flood victims because they chose to live there. What happened to compassion?

Well, looks like the upper class are happy today with the budget bill. I’m curious to know how many members of congress actually read it. It was 1000 pages of legal language. I would have fallen asleep after the first 100.
