Lads, let's not be daft here. Ye all know it's not just the 27 that have agree. Some states also have lower camera necessities to pass EU lex. No point ignoring those red lines.

It wasn't a view, the British negotiatiors were openly saying it. Their belief, immediately post agreement, was that it never mattered what was in any text as they could change it anytime they pleased. Which they happily told anyone who'd listen that week after a few pints on Rue Archimede.

I think your memory problems are getting worse. You stated that Russia would probably be in the EU if the US allowed it. And that was only a few hours ago when you wrote it. So how do the US have a veto on EU membership?

Never said they did. Now can you please explain how the US could prevent application state from applying for EU membership. As you stated they could. You seem very knowledgeable......

In my dealings with Russian diplomats they view non Russians as subhuman or genetically inferior. If by some miracle Russia managed to achieve their goals in Europe these craven apologists would quickly find out that. Although some have a Renfield fetish. Sad really.

Please explain how the US is able to prevent application for EU membership? Russia had already invaded Ukraine in 2014. Barely a decade ago, more of a recent memory. 8 years before 2022. In a couple of posts you've shown ignorance of simple maths, geography, and history.

The Tories had used a Brexit referendum pledge to keep Cameron in power back in 2013. Once again for those in the back, British decisions regarding British rights and obligations are British alone. Responsibility for these actions are theirs and only theirs.

I have ID cards from across the EU. But then again I was paying taxes and setting up a life in those countries. Irish citizen, EU citizen, obeying the MS laws as an internal immigrant. Makes life much easier tbh.
