Canadian gov standing behind and propping up a war criminal is abhorrent. Israel is appalled that an Israeli hospital has been bombed, meanwhile they bomb hospitals, target health care workers and shoot unarmed civilians at aid stations. Iran is only a distraction to care out genocide in Gaza.

Is it then a war crime for Israeli forces to have bombed hospitals in Gaza, while targeting and killing health care workers? There aren’t 2 sets of rules. War crimes are war crimes.

The US already falls behind it peers in life expectancy. I feel like this estimate at 2030 will need to be revised with the gap growing.

I feel like the US is experiencing this at the top of the curve. All the signs have been there for years, so I am not sure why people are “surprised” or think “this isn’t what that voted for”. Now the whole US gets to live with the consequences as some people wanted cheap eggs and gas.

Reading #FireWeather it describes police and fire departments being helpless in the Fort McMurray fire. The traffic jam, fire everywhere, the wind pushing the fire at an alarming rate, … it paints a picture of future fires in NA and it is terrifying. Our hearts go to our neighbours to the south.

Reading #FireWeather it describes police and fire departments being helpless in the Fort McMurray fire. The traffic jam, fire everywhere, the wind pushing the fire at an alarming rate, … it paints a picture of future fires in NA and it is terrifying. Our hearts go to our neighbours to the south.
Enjoyed this page in the recent #AlbertaViews. Good reminder that the loudest voices don’t represent the majority. The news cycle focuses on stories that gain reaction, but often aren’t grounded in reality. I often feel that the media makes our premier and UCP seem more popular than they are.
