Dollar isn’t crashing because of the shutdown, but because of the new debt Trump added; and the decline of safe haven status due to decline of rule of law Supreme Court enabled. People are dumping bonds for gold, and in order to cash out of bonds, one must sell dollars, hence the headline.

They should start by growing something’s others want, no one wants soybeans, they’re just for China to feed pigs. And if China is buying elsewhere, grow something people can eat.

I guess Mars is the only realistic use case then. We’re way far away from that and still would make sense to try Antarctica first.

Data centers cost a fortune I electricity because so much money is spent on cooling, space is cold so it’s worth experimenting, but they should try it in Antarctica first, if you can’t do it here then forget space.

Space based data centers will need less power because it’s freezing up there, either in space, on the moon or Mars. But antarctica is as cold as mars summer, so perhaps we try there first.

Row crops are unprofitable 7 out of 10 years, it’s the 3 bumper crop years that keep them afloat. Government loans, subsidies keep them afloat. And that’s when there’s a market for their crops, which they’re isn’t. We’re paying them to farm corn and soy that no one wants and they’re losing cash y/y

not even, have you seen his poll numbers? There is a certain portion of the US that is truly sick, but it's not even 40%, perhaps 1/3rd. Not sure how to get those losers back, they're just always going to be sick, we need to keep the 66% coalition together, it fell apart in 2024 when Biden bowed out

Just trump's as he's trying to get rich off of it. He'll be impeached again once we take back the house. He'll be arrested again as soon as he leaves office, I'm not even worried. No election can save him next time.

He won't be around forever and his term is basically up next year once Midterms happen and we take back the house. He'll be impeached along with most of their cabinet. Whether the senate removes them is a different story... But his term is over next year.

plus I own mostly treasuries, my private banker isn't calling me congratulating me on investments well done, I told him I wanted Gold when trump got into office as he was going to bankrupt the country and ruin the dollar, and I was right, gold doubled as people dump these bonds.
