The world just hates writers. Satire is dead, dystopian fiction is redundant… I’m thinking about becoming a romance novelist. I don’t suppose anyone will complain if there’s too much love in the world, even if all the men have to be bare chested, and wearing kilts.

History is cruel, and it always will be, because it’s not written by the good guys, but to give it its due, it never forgives, nor should forgive, those who appease the dictator. Zuckerberg will discover this too, but he will never have the self awareness to understand it.
