Frustrating post. What evidence do you have that Dems deserve any support at all? They continue to be as spineless as they ever were. I played the “yeah but the other side is so much worse” game straight over the cliff.

Dems deserve nothing from me.

Not the majority of Americans. Not even a majority — a plurality. And even then it’s only those who bothered to cast a ballot.

Just to be clear, it’s 49.8% of extremely idiotic Americans who bothered to cast a vote.

Hitting ‘em HARD, Klobuchar. Authoritarianism just can’t get a foothold as long as the bald eagle is officially our national bird. 🙄

Good luck getting this point across. We’re clearly still in the “denial” phase of our collective grief, where we talk vaguely of “resistance” and pretend our friends, families, neighbors didn’t *really* want this. Rubbish.

^^^ This. So much empty “stand and fight” rhetoric. Old people don’t leave the stage voluntarily, and the avg person doesn’t EVER shake themselves loose of cultish behavior once it’s this embedded. Happy to be done with legacy media, but I’m still on the hunt for some real talk, not platitudes.
