I do like it a bit better with more ink. Kind of went ham on the poor tree though.

More experimenting with ink+watercolor, trying to find a workflow I like. Intentionally went very sporadic on ink here but might try another pass going heavier just to see how that looks. #furryart

Snow angels #furryart

The wizard in my fantasy setting lives in a remote tower which a tree has grown though, now only accessible via the top floor.

Lil: "IS THAT A REAL T-500 AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM?! I thought they were all destroyed after the radiation leakage lawsuit! That's so cool!" Boss: "Radia- oh dog, is that why it glows? Noted... that's going in the trash tonight." Panel 3 Lil looks with adoration at the griddle. Lil: "OOOOH A 1988 A-MODEL GROWLER GRIDDLE! THESE ARE SOOOO RETRO! Is that the OEM grease catch or aftermarket?" Boss looks perplexed. Boss: "It's uh... is there a difference?" Lil: "Hah hah! You're so funny, Boss!" Panel 4 Boss is in a dark room writing furiously by lamplight. Through the door behind him, Lil peers in. Lil: "AND THAT LOOKS LIKE THE 4X HOTBUN TOASTER THEY RECALLED WHEN IT VAPORIZED- Boss, are you okay in there?" Boss: "KEEP GOING! I'M LEARNING A LOT!"
