Ha no Ponce de Leon is one of the main streets in Atlanta.

Although it wasn't really a good answer to the prompt, since people in Atlanta DO pronounce it like it's spelled, instead of how it should be pronounced.

Results of Personas with the latest Vision Pro (beta) update. Slightly less horrifying, but much like a game industry recruiter, it gets one look at a white beard and says “nope.”

It won’t let me open my mouth, so it looks like I’m biting my tongue about how weird and bad it is.

Asking before I try and write a piece of software that already exists:

Is there a tool for prototyping card and board games? Not just printing components, but helping play test, iterating rules, etc?

Last time I asked, I got recommended Tabletop Simulator, which is good but not quite what I mean.

the one thing i like about generative ai is when it is wrong. because it is always very, very funny. it is so confident and so enthusiastic while failing, like the very best clown.

so, i'm here to tell you that there MAY be NOTHING FUNNIER than asking ai to do ASCII drawings.

I could tell that something weird is going on because usually any rejection makes my impostor syndrome go into overdrive for at least a week, but now my gut reaction is “oh I can totally do this stuff, I just need to actually prove it instead of just talking about it.”

Got a rejection for the last FT job I was actively applying for, and honestly it’s a relief having someone else make the decision for me.

For a while it’s felt like the universe was telling me “you need to follow your dreams,” and it was only my body telling me “you need health insurance.”

These mints have long been my favorite (they’ve been in the non-ticket-book packaging for years) but I go through them too quickly to be able to afford them.

Is there a non-Disney equivalent? They’re not quite Altoids because they’re smaller and softer.

People can vent if they want but leave me out of it; I’m sick of hearing all the doomer bullshit. Going to start muting or blocking that shit indiscriminately.

Next time you’re going to “[gesture vaguely at everything]” either volunteer to do something about it or get a therapist and STFU.

I’m happy to be extricating myself from Google as much as possible, but I sure wish my mail server didn’t keep going down.
