Anyway, I didn't do it! Larry Butz (Ace Attorney) stressed out speaking to a confused Sasquatch (Darkstalkers). In context of the card pack, this is likely the day of the statue dedicated to Cody was set to be unveiled, as well as the Steel Samurai show. The clock behind Larry & Sasquatch shows a time of 8:35am, roughly 2 & a half hours before the statue's unveiling was set to take place. Larry's last line in the flavor text is something he says a lot when he was in trial in Ace Attorney 1.

Flavor Text, spoken by Larry: Yeah, I was the one who organized bringing those guys into Central Park. But I did get permission from the security guard! Come to think of it, he did seem strangely interested in them... Not that I can blame him. Those guys are something else! Dan Hibiki (Street Fighter) giving Larry Butz (Ace Attorney) a thumbs up after sneaking Sasquatch (Darkstalkers), an Anteka, and the Brachydios (both from Monster Hunter) into the Central Park's forest. The clipboard Dan is holding has the date of June 17th on it, as well as the security code for the Brachydios' cage. In context of this card pack, this took place a day before the alleged demon gatherings that Wendy Oldbag saw on June 18th, as revealed by other cards, it was just Sasquatch’s naturally cold body and the Anteka’s horns that made her think it was demons. This card also establishes that only 2 people were capable of knowing the Brachydios’ cage code, as Larry snuck the Steel Samurai’s opponents into the park secretly. Dan had a vested interest in the Brachydios especially, going by the 'Saikyo T-Shirt (AVP 017)' card…

Flavor Text: A yeti-like creature who lives in the frozen mountainous wastes of a distant northern continent. Having been enchanted by the taste of bananas, he has since migrated to human towns for work as a means to acquire more. He seems to be pleased about encountering someone from home recently. Sasquatch (Darkstalkers), a jovial looking Bigfoot monster walking through a forest at night. Next to him is an Anteka (Monster Hunter). In context of this card, he was hired by Larry Butz to work in the Steel Samurai show happening on July 1st as one of the Steel Samurai's enemies. The Anteka next to him also lived in the north and was hired for the Steel Samurai show, so the two formed a close bond. He’s taking him to the fountain for a drink.

Flavor Text, spoken by Sasquatch: I guess it was about 2:00 a.m. on July 1— early in the morning on the day of the ceremony. I was fast asleep when suddenly, I got woken up by a loud noise. It sounded like it was coming from the square where the fountain is, but I didn’t see anything strange when I looked out of the window. Sasquatch (Darkstalkers) removing his sleeping mask. In context of this card pack, Sasquatch is living out in a hut in the forest of Central Park, having been hired by Larry to perform in the Steel Samurai stage show happening on July 1st. The loud noise that woke Sasquatch up is an explosion caused by a Brachydios' explosive slime (Monster Hunter), also leading to the statue's destruction.

On that note, there really aren’t enough queer cryptid romance books out there; finding the right ones is like sifting through a sea of vanilla hetero slop.

Trying my hand at a new OC! Bilby’s a lone bigfoot that loves foraging for mushrooms and doesn’t care if he gets caught by humans. He has ways of warding them away. 😏
