No need for needle holes - they are obsolete in my experience. I know that isn't how it is for everyone. I also realize that not everyone *likes* yarn bowl. That's totally normal! we all like different things. There is room for everyone.

My hope is that for those who lapse love a bowl at home that this bowl may fit your needs. you see , in the next photo I will show you how I tend to sit with it during the day if I am knitting. At night, it sits next to my hip in bed; the perfect size for a single ball or cake of yarn.

So At the end of 2024, I reached out to another local to me pottery company, had my lovely stamp moved to them, and they worked with me to create a very similar replica in both size and shape (with a bit more height) than my beloved yarn bowl.

as beautiful as they were with the front stamp that I had envisioned in my minds eye as the yarn bowl stamp that encapsulated my love of the earth, the shape and type of bowl wasn't what I was really looking for. I wanted a replica of virtually the same size and shape bowl that I had stumble onto

I don't use yarn bowls when I'm out and about but I have two large personality traits - an outdoor girly and a homebody. When I'm at home I don't use yarn bags for more than storage and organization. I almost always use a yarn bowl. in 2023 I had my first yarn bowls created.
