I’m still pissed at the Tribune for endorsing the Libertarian candidate Johnson in 2016 instead of Hillary. They are complicit in the Trumpification of the US.

My grandmother got a whole set of dishes (that she used for years) from going to the movies in the 1930s. Give away a used to be so much better!

My father contracted brucellosis as a child and was blind for a year. Luckily, even though it was in the late 1930s and he lived in a very rural area, he had medical
professionals in his family who took him to a proper physician and he was successfully treated.

As a Cardinals fan who lived in Chicago for 25 years, I MUCH preferred going to White Sox games than Cubs games. The Sox fans were more engaged and could hold their liquor better! Cuba games were about getting drunk and being loud.
