You don't have to sit there the whole time. You can just continue playing the game while the MAM scans it. In fact when it's done you can even place down a new MAM wherever you're standing, and look at the results from there.

Lmao it's all good, and I agree that 10 minutes is too long. I also hate that you can't insert the components for a HUB research when the dropship is already gone! Especially since MAM research takes 3 seconds.
I don't think the devs have a Bluesky, they are still only on Twitter unfortunately.
