I did an experiment.

I opened an X account, followed nobody, liked nobody, posted nothing.

Within a month my feed was a hive of right wing talking points and neo-fascist ideas.

The same on bluesky and the result is pictures of animals, images of the night sky and the occasional post about love😁

Honestly not sure if we should persuade people to join or just see what happens, it takes a certain level or moral intelligence to make the move and we need those people and them alone...
