I used to grow milkweed for the Monarch butterflies. I hug trees and I like to take photographs of nature, insects, animals, and birds. I try to be a good human. Located in Southwestern Arizona.

This is SUPER exciting. My dad had this pond built at my childhood home in NW PA 5 years ago...

It appears a #beaver has moved in! Dad, who passed Sept. 6, would have been SO thrilled at this development! My sis just put camera traps up to see if we can get images. 🤞
A small tree that was taken down near the woods, with gnaw marks along it, and lots of beaver "saw dust" and "chips" in the grass! This appears to the entrance to the beaver's hidey hole/house -- and in this image, a freshly chewed log/stick appers!

What a glorious thing to have at dad's pond. He definitely did, and yes, you must. Hugs!

The U.S. government ended the Solar for All program, even though the Hopi had already been approved for the grant. Without this money, the tribe can only connect about 100 homes. That means they’ll have to decide which families get electricity, and which don’t.

Aiming for the head of a religious leader. Despicable!

When is enough enough?

CW: protester being struck in the head by a pepper ball

Footage I took earlier of the moment Reverend David Black, a regular protester outside of the Broadview Detention Center, was shot in the head with a pepper ball by ICE agents on the roof of the facility.

We used to get our pumpkins from Harbour Farms in Ramona, California every year. Dave Harbour had a great place. You could go out in the field, and cut your own, or choose from the ones already harvested. #GoodTimes

We found a lot of Milkweed that day at Palomar Mountain State Park. No sign of caterpillars, but lots of Milkweed bugs.
