From that spark, Sauti Data Lab was born, inspired by the energy, platform, and opportunity that @pollicy.bsky.social DataFest, and our mentor afforded us. Today, we carry that spirit forward as we work to amplify social issues through data, storytelling, and human-centered innovation.

What we didn’t expect was the impact our work would create at the time but the feedback from the audience, the engagement from fellow participants, and the support from mentors gave us the confidence to dream bigger. That moment became a turning point.
