This moment demands decisive action.

The Government of Israel must be compelled to stop atrocity crimes.

Symbolic gestures & half-measures do not protect children, @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu @kajakallas.bsky.social @ec.europa.eu

❌Gaza’s schools have been obliterated
❌Over half of religious & cultural sites destroyed.
❌Since August we’ve run out of supplements for pregnant women & new mothers.

This is the predictable result of a sustained siege on food, medicine & fuel.

Humanitarian actors are blocked at every step.⬇️

"With EU member states now holding responsibility, the choice is clear: act or be complicit. History will judge this moment as a test of humanity — one we are collectively failing now." - Willy Bergogné, Save the Children Europe Director & EU representative

The EU must:
➡️Demand an end to the siege
➡️Ensure aid access
➡️Stop starvation as a weapon of war
Only political will can end this.

We call on European leaders to put children’s best interests first.

Policies that keep families apart are not only harmful—they undermine the values Europe claims to uphold.

As our @federicatoscano.bsky.social explains in the piece: family reunification is one of the safest, most secure pathways for migration—supporting integration and reducing risks.

Restricting it fractures families and pushes people towards dangerous routes.
