Folks who love/teach/care for SPED kids in NC, do you know how the funding works? It’s important to know so you can be a good advocate.
NC currently funds individual children at about $5300 per year. A portion of that amount is provided by the Federal Government, the rest from NC DPI budget 👇🏼
