Say No To Faraday Copper

A story in the local paper about the Faraday Copper open house is 91% copy and pasted press releases from Faraday. And it is believed that the "author" wasn't even there.

Per AZ BLM 2300 letters with 7500 comments submitted… “only a few” were in support of Faraday Copper. But they still approved drilling on public land. So much for “social license”. Zero community support. 1872 mining law strikes again.

When it comes to water, most miners are “Do as I say, not as I do”. Here is how Faraday Copper wastes Arizona’s water.

Do As I Say, Not As I Do
Remember when Faraday Copper and Redhawk told us “Every Drop Counts”? Well that seems to be a “Do as I say, not as I do” item, which is common with junior miners.

It’s about building trust with communities and tribal nations, but these groups are excluded.

In 2022 Arizona Bureau of Land Management asked Faraday Copper if they would be drilling the Old Bunker Hill site due to concerns of lead and arsenic. 3 years later a post stating they are drilling the Bunker Hill area.

Let’s hope it’s a different Bunker Hill.

Sorry @brandonloomis.bsky.social copper mining is not a “lynchpin” of the AZ economy. In 2023 mining was only 1.3% of our GDP and only .5% of all jobs in Arizona. That includes quarries, oil, gas. So copper’s impact is even smaller.
