This is exactly right. Trump’s big advantage is that he’s playing tic-tac-toe without a pencil but somehow convinces people he’s multiverse time-travel chess.
There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.

Can't wrap my head around the following: banning abortions but not extra funding for prenatal care, p/maternity leave, or at-risk families, while taking away support for special education. Something tells me they just want factory babies.
Ohhhh yeah, people love it when you take away their stuff.
