You could use tattoo second skin film to keep it stuck on. My skin is also very adhesive proof so I usually end up with the tattoo film on top of toe and plasters.

I'm sorry you're having to go through this, I wish cats lived longer. But the fact that you're so worried about this shows what a good cat owner you are and ultimately that you will make the right choice for her.

I found the philosophy of too early rather than too late really helpful, it felt like a final gift to her after 10 years together. It also meant I could get a vet to come to my house to put her down (which costs more but I'd really recommend it) so she got to die at home on my lap.

I had to make the same call when my previous cat developed a terminal heart condition, in the end I decided to let her go too early rather than too late, she was an active cat who was losing the ability to run around so I didn't want her to ever have a bad completely out of breath day.

Oh that is a complex situation, digestive issues in cats often don't seem to have treatments. At least you can try to bulk her up with lots of treats, even if it doesn't slow down the weight loss it'll be a good time for her.

My vets have also mentioned some research on very small ketamine doses being able to reduce chronic pain for weeks to months. It sucks though, I hope you get as much ime with her as possible.

One of mine has advanced arthritis, Solensia alone stopped covering the pain at the start of winter but adding in Cartrophen (4 week course then once every 4 weeks with Solensia) and amantidine has helped his pain levels significantly.
