Man this really was the generation of whack-ass controllers. Ps2 kinda wins by default but GameCube is still great for Nintendo games. Underrated gem of the gen is the xbox's s controller.

Oof that sucks, I had a similar experience with Shadow the Hedgehog. I played it first on the GameCube and then years later played it on Ps2. I didn't expect that an already janky as hell game could get even worse.

I know right? I usually expect the Ps2 versions of games to be relatively downgraded compared to GameCube or Xbox.

Another discovery I found is that the EA Seattle version of the game was used as the base for a Need for Speed arcade game developed by GlobalVR. I remember playing it as a kid too and had no idea it was the same game. It later got an updated version called Need for Speed GT with more cars and modes

Interestingly is that EA Black Box worked on the PS2 version and ever since were the main developers for the franchise until they shutdown in 2013. EA Seattle was the main developer for the series and worked on the non-PS2 versions, this was their last work before they were merged into EA Vancouver.

Wait what the fuck??? Like I know pc gaming isn't really much of a thing over there but that's crazy. Even more crazy that the other Sega pc ports still aren't available to them.

The craziest thing about rush duel is having starter decks that aren't complete ass. Yuga's deck is crazy good for what a starter deck usually is.

My uncle had this game on the Genesis and would play literally all the time. He knew that game like the back of his hand.

Japan still makes gacha cards of random animes. I've sern people buy demon slayer cards that just have art and they have like rarity marks on them.
