It was not surprising a fascist would someday attempt to destroy the American Experiment. The surprise came when we discovered how many were willing to help him.

The movie Vice, a satire of Dick Cheney, has a wonderful section that explains the Unitary Executive Theory--unlimited presidential power through Article II. It was prescient and sharp. It needs to go viral across social media.

According to one news archive scan by AI, Trump is seven times more likely to call a Black woman "low IQ" than a white man. He has called Robert DeNiro low IQ, and a few sorted Caucasians, but nearly every notable Black woman he has branded as low IQ. Next most would be White women.

I miss the Washington Post. It helped me survive the first Trump term. Then Jeff Bezos happened and I had to cancel. There are other good news sources. But I miss the Washington Post.

I'm confused. Solving this war was easy! Stopping inflation was easy! Other nations were going to eat the tariffs--easy! I'm beginning to think running the world is more complex than Trump realized.
