Listen, I am no more immune to headass takes than anyone else, but I don't think "the price of my vote is SUPPORTING THE RIGHT OF TRANS PEOPLE TO EXIST AND HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS EVERYONE ELSE" is one of them.

My first SRPGs were Black Hole Rising and FFTA, and they're my favorite genre. I am *always* wanting people to play more of them so I can get more than 3 new entries a year! (No, weird hybrid stuff like Diofield Chronicle doesn't count, though that game is pretty fun too)

I've been through the legal system a few times, and refusing to obey the rules of the court NEVER works out.

I'm not trying to ignore the main point (I agree with you entirely about harm reduction!), but...god, people need to understand that if you are in court, THE SYSTEM ALREADY HAS YOU. Its rules are going to apply. You can't "moral outrage" your way out of a court judgment. Stop trying.

In (extremely grudging) fairness, Mastodon's plan for the feature includes the ability to remove yourself from a pack you don't want to be in or prevent people from putting you in them at all. Features Bsky should've had from the start...
