Yesterday Nic made a delicious French toast breakfast. Cream cheese sauces lined on stripped colored brioche toast like candy canes, with a gingerbread flavored maple syrup, with a touch of cranberries. It was unbelievably good and not too overwhelming. I love him.

Another bug popularly found on Milkweed plants are Aphis nerii, or better known as the Milkweed Aphid. They're so small, and I just don't have a Macro lens...yet. Some day. :)

Growing native Kentucky plants since early spring. Here we have the "Cinderella" Milkweed and it's community of insects. We have the Oncopeltus fasciatus or Milkweed Bug. Could be mistakened at a glance as a kind of Wheel Bug.
