We just have some truly awful political leaders. Gone are the days of listening to the public mood and shifting your message to meet it. It's become, this is my authentic self, if you don't like it, then vote for someone else. Hmm only 18% in the polls, I wonder why

2006 is when the Tories turned a corner. They realised the nasty party label was toxic and they ditched and appealed to middle Britain. She's acting like what Britain wants is a more despotic, hardline and reactive government. And says this whilst on 18% in the polls. This is suicide.

Also quite sick of the phrase "kowtow" only being used in a Chinese context, surely in reality that's our relationship with the US, but it's the image of being potentially subservient to an Asian power is portrayed as being extra humiliating. The undertones, i feel media should address that one day

Many of us wouldn't be anywheres if we could actually afford to live where we grew up. If my small rural village has no graduate jobs, then yes I'll need to go anywhere else

The thing about the dems is this, if trump takes Greenland will they promise to give it back. The answer is no. They won't

I've thought about this a lot, being a student of international relations and African studies. For a long time now, there simply isn't a clear foreign policy objective beyond. Follow the US and then figure out how we can benefit

What alternative routes? We have an opposition that will side with a hostile leader rather than back the government... Our European relationships are strained, we have no real relationship to speak of in Africa, south America or the middle east really. In Asia we are trying to talk to China but...

He is just a more polished version of supreme American arrogance. Not really a leader for the world to follow
