All of these comments are so sad and I understand. But I also hope you can find joy again in creativity. Music and art and literature and humor are more important than ever. Now is the time to reclaim these things. Don’t let them take this from you, too.

Also true that the response is an opportunistic excuse for even more racism and xenophobia. When was the last time all white guys were blamed after one of them shot up a school or a mall or killed their ex-wife? Never. They’re still buying guns.
