Um -- Rob Lowe and "three" have a very different connotation for the old heads.

Clinton talked about the era of big gov't being over...but that's very different than what Reagan and "small gov't" types were arguing. Clinton/other dems of the era looked to "reinvent government" with focus on union contracts, workrules, etc. Reagan/Gingrich/GOP wanted to torch it.

Guess i'm missing the part about control of the house, Committee chairmanships, legislative calendars, house rules committee, how a hearing is held in congress, and all that other stuff people here clearly slept through in civics class. Or just changed the channel during schoolhouse rock.

This is what any moral human should do regardless of ethnicity. Why does it feel like this thread has another objective? Lucidity means saying clearly what needs to ne said: there is hate and we all need to stop it.
