Painted some sweetsie cat mugs today, gotta get them in the kiln soon! was thinking bows for valentines but i feel like some of them look more like little game show hosts XD (tho...i don't actually know why i strongly associate bowties with game shows, i think they usually wear regular ties...)

somehow me and my siblings Iron Lung reviews are not convincing people its good...
me on tumblr (dontbesuchascaredykai) reblogging my sibling (mismess) "amazingly our description of Iron Lung as 'watch markiplier suffer alone in a submarine for 2 hours' is not winning people over" with my tags saying "its an accurate description, does my 'it had some really good textures' help?".

today i finally started putting together a cat tree i got the cats for christmas. then when i took a break i found my siblings were putting together the older one's new ikea bed so i helped before finishing the tree, they took forever!! kinda fun though! reminds me of legos😌 ...my fingers hurt.😅

2025 art summary! I tried to only include illustrations, even small ones, but some months I only drew TQOCT pages. Probably anyway, my organization is not good so I could be missing things. 😅

Casey unconsciously used magic to keep his eyes blue but they are naturally orange/bright amber. he is not very good at it though so half the time it's hovered around a muddy green color as a mix of the two.

A comic page, "Good Luck Cat by Kaija" Title is over a wall of records all by the Good Luck Cats, the first visible is them as a group of 3 in 60/70's outfits in a "best of" collection but a couple albums later its just 2 older looking ladies. One of the old ladies is sitting in a comfortable looking room with guitars on one wall and a cat tree on the other, she asks a question to a young woman sitting with her, she slightly resembles the other older lady from the album, "Talia have you looked at the list I gave you?" As Talia answers she reaches down to pet a black cat, "Mossy's list? Sure, she doesn't like enclosed spaces, her favorite is tuna in goat milk but don't let her-" The old woman interrupts, "You know why I gave it to you right? I want you to take care of Mossy when I'm gone-" Talia interjects, "Aw, Miss Iris don't talk like that, you've still got plenty of-" Iris takes her turn in cutting her off, "It's going to happen eventually." Mossy the black cat hisses at Talia while Iris continues seriously, "And I know you two don't really get along but you're the only one I trust." Talia sits up in surprise and says, "Really?" "So, it's important you know the truth. I never even talked about it with your grandmother." Iris says as Mossy jumps up to sit with her purring as Iris pets her while she talks, "I'm sure she knew, but until she passed I barely thought of what would happen after I was gone... Do you believe in things that can't be explained?".

ok before i go to bed here's my day one MICE haul! after getting lost and adding like an hour to my ride home I'm tired. 😅 got some nice looking books today + a pin and illustration, also an izutsumi sticker but i seem to have lost it. 😔 anyway if i buy anything tomorrow it'll be small mini comics
7 books on a bed: graphic medicine issue 1, the deep!, sherlock holmes the case of the haunted chateau, maker of grave goods, malatona when it rains, the ocean eats the universe, hello sunshine, + a small ceramic pin and tiny illustration of firepaw thinking of a mouse from the artists of the warrior cat graphic novels. also the program.

Some of the kitties I brought to the very good Sips For Snips event last week! A couple of them, plus new ones, will be joining me next sunday at Providence Flea!

the flame point kitties are always the last to go but they're my favorite, only about half an hour to go at the con and this is one of the few mugs left along with some black ones. (i made a lot of black ones though, it was halloween 😆)
