Even just going between writing financial software where 3/4 of the code is validation, safety, and error handling with thousands of tests to the world of game dev where there's unchecked floating point maths, yolo memory management, and assertions that purposefully crash if hit is such a whiplash.

Looks decent. 7500X3D is perfectly good, RTX 5070 is a current gen card with 12GB VRAM which is great as games are loading in much more textures. 32GB of RAM is where I'd want to be for that resolution too.

The prebuilts from Overclockers are pretty good in terms of component selections.
My personal target CPU+GPU is either an AMD 7800X3D or a 9000 series CPU (preferably an X3D variant) with an AMD 9070 XT, which is overshooting for 1440p but I like margin to go for higher settings or frame rates.
