All our services are staffed by both trained volunteers and paid staff, and are carefully supervised and moderated. None of them allow for anyone to privately contact or speak with our users who isn’t a member of our team. You can learn all about our different services here: www.scarleteen.com/ask

Scarleteen has long been the one of the only sex education sites and organizations that offers FREE direct support services, provided and moderated by real people, not bots. We can offer support whether you're looking for community or when you're wanting to talk 1-on-1 with our trained team.

We strongly oppose the scraping and use of our website for any AI training. Tech companies engaging in these practices freely admit that their business model relies on nonconsensual scraping of content and that they are not profitable without “free” intellectual material that is not theirs to use.

Besides the toll AI takes on the environment, the plagiarism it engages in by necessity, and the way things like scraping create needless work for us and others to do when we could be doing work of value instead.
