Game developer, in theory. Currently working on Nexus.

they/them
There are some who call me scarzehd. I've got a lot of projects but my main one right now is Nexus. You can think of it like a mix of ULTRAKILL and The Binding of Isaac. I'm not an artist so my games lack visual polish, but I think I make up for it in mechanical depth. #GameDev

At least there's indie development...

I can't believe I forgot I had already posted about this game.

Getting out of tutorial hell is one of the best feelings. Now, I can spend hours getting angry at myself instead of a stranger in a tutorial.

I do like the idea of being able to press Ctrl+G to group things, though. I find myself wanting to do that a lot when prototyping levels with CSGBoxes.

That honestly sounds way more complicated, and it could only really take into account one scene at a time anyway, right?

What kind of game could even justify the work to require this?

I don't know about him as a person, but people dislike The Game Awards because 90% of the vote is just games journalists.

I don't know if I'd call them a "pretty fucking evil company." They're certainly no saint (though what company is?), but their only real issue is their complete refusal to do anything about all the sketchy Counter Strike gambling sites.

Out of curiosity, what's the bug?

A lot of these would be easy enough to implement, but some of them don't really make sense. Like reversing the scene tree, how do you account for nodes with different Z index or with top level set to true?

People will say this and then immediately buy the new 2k and both new Pokemon games.

What's this about a randomizer?

Very cool. Is that skirt wave a physics sim or animated by hand?
