rant incoming! listen. i am an experienced and competent gamer. i have been gaming since the 8 bit Nintendo era. i platinum'd Elden Ring. i am 33% of the way through Expedition 33 playing on normal difficulty and the dodge/parry system makes me want to smash my controller through my tv screen.

aside from christmas music, what's your favorite album to listen to around this time of year? mine is The Loneliest Time by Carly Rae Jepsen. captures the vibes of the darkest season and adds its own little light. 🕯️ 💫

i've been looking for an excuse to try a new nail polish. i have many untrieds stacking up. today i noticed an almost imperceptibly tiny chip on one nail so it's time for the manicure to go.

the Chainsaw Man movie is excellent. felt like i jumped into the comic book and someone added a really good soundtrack. if you enjoy the tv show or the manga, you will also enjoy the movie. i saw it in IMAX and it was worth the extra $$.

the new job has overall been a big life improvement but the associated insurance made me switch from a medication that was pretty effective/not too invasive to a medication that is less effective and painful to administer and being in pain all the time chips away at my sanity like nothing else

also picked up a physical copy of Kissing Game. it's the first comic i bought from Yamino and i loved it, but i usually lose track of PDF comics and don't read them more than once. I am so happy she made a printed version. The art is impeccable and the story is silly fantasy hotness. It's perfect.
(Incidentally, if you wanted to grab a copy, they are flying out almost faster than I can sign them!)

also picked up a physical copy of Kissing Game. it's the first comic i bought from Yamino and i loved it, but i usually lose track of PDF comics and don't read them more than once. I am so happy she made a printed version. The art is impeccable and the story is silly fantasy hotness. It's perfect.

a thing you should know about me is that i have more books than i have room on bookshelves. and yeah ok i ordered all 12 volumes of the Sailor Moon Eternal Edition manga this weekend. it will be my 2nd copy of the full Sailor Moon manga (3rd if you count the Mixx edition i gave away).
