And didn’t he just slink off into oblivion 🤨 A bit like Greg Hunt. Pfffft - gone. Out of sight, out of mind …..

Younger is relative 🙂 I’m talking about those in their late 20s onwards. They do watch breakfast tv before they go to work. And it shapes their political views, such as they are. Mostly they are disinterested but the latch onto stuff like EVs don’t work, solar is rubbish, AUKUS is good. Worrying!

Bravo Mr Dog. How dumb are humans! Food security? Nah. Water security? Nah. Affordable housing? Nah. Looking after our environment? Nah. But huge, thirsty, energy consuming, useless data centres? Hell yeah! We absolutely need that AI that dumbs us down.

Oh if you want a real treat, watch Sunrise on ch 7 in the mornings. The bias is palpable. Sadly breakfast tv is the only stuff many younger people watch each day. And they 💯 believe it.

Heheh you should hear me. Yelling at the tv like some demented old person. Yes I’m old-er. And a bit demented. But fuck man, I can’t tolerate all the mainstream bs anymore. HELLO MS MEDIA. We. Don’t. Buy. Your. Propaganda. Anymore. Do. Better. FFS!

There are environmental issues already & I hate the whole concept but when we keep cramming more people into places that were never “designed” for that many, what is the alternative? They are going to build desalination plants in Karratha/the Pilbara too. It’s all about the $$. Jobs & growth 🤢

It’s despicable. I cannot understand why Europe continues to engage with Israel. What’s wrong with them!
December 5, 2025 at 2:24 AM
Perth has two desalination plants already, with a third one planned. Desalinated seawater accounts for around 30-40% of Perth's drinking water in any given year (depending on rainfall and streamflow).

If you are using the old Kobo app it might not work? I read somewhere that Kobo had undergone huge changes. There’s a new Rakuten Kobo app. Good luck.

Fuck Israel. They are evil.
December 4, 2025 at 4:21 AM
Thank you. The conflict in Sudan has been deliberately ignored by Western countries. As global citizens we should care what is happening. The slaughter of people, incl women & children, is unacceptable. Shame on us for putting money - the sale of military equipment etc - before human lives. Shame!
December 4, 2025 at 4:13 AM
Too true. I had a little petrol car. Used to travel from Perth to the Pilbara & Kimberley & then between the towns up there. I had fuel range anxiety all the time. It’s nothing new but, but, but …… EVs!!! Mon Dieu, EVs! Do better ABC.

Don’t give up Senator! These overpaid bureaucrats need to be held to account. Roast ‘em.

When will our political duopoly do anything substantial to put the welfare of the people before themselves & donors. YES I am cynical after COVID, NACC, AUKUS, transparency & accountability, whistleblowers, Gaza, gambling, climate, media, consultancies, environment, housing, CSIRO & now Jobs 4 Mates

@australianlabor.bsky.social are lost. They once stood for something. Now they are corporate shills who sell out citizens every time they need to make a decision.

Woodside, Gaza, Aukus, Gambling Reform, NAAC, and on and on.

They will be severely punished come election time.

And to think I was naive enough to hope that Labor would do better. Mon Dieu indeed!

Makes me white hot with rage. HOW.THE.HELL.IS.THIS. ALLOWED.TO.HAPPEN? I love donkeys but the Palestinian kids matter. Germany is on the wrong side of history, TWICE.
