The tomb of William Higgs whose business Higgs and Hill built the Tate Gallery in London as well as Liberty’s and Harvey Nichols, the famous department stores. The business started off in Vauxhall. Sir Brian Hill retired in 1992 and the business was sold to a Dutch company in 1996.

Rachel was French. Her husband was the great Estonian athlete of German/Swedish descent. They lived in South Norwood. He died in 1968 and was cremated at West Norwood.
