The point here is to believe people when they tell you who they are. Gavin Newsom hangs out with Republicans because he likes hanging out with Republicans. This isn't 4-D chess. He wants to hang out with Ben Shapiro and Steve Bannon. When he says he agrees with them on things, it's because he does.

When I see the photos of Epstein and Bannon, it makes wonder if the fallout with Trump/Epstein “blew over,” and Bannon acted as a conduit between the two.

The US has been using its economic power to assert its will on allies and enemies alike for a long time.
