can we please get rid of FDs in 2026
this one wasn't great, and tbh i had to stick the previous game in to remind myself who everyone else was, which yikes bro. FDs usually have poor pacing or they're kinda boring but man this is worse cuz it's plot plot plot no fluff.

While the localization for this game was pretty good, I just didn't enjoy it. It felt like "we have Bustafellas at home" and it was kinda boring. The UI threw me off when I started it, and the artstyle is so hit/miss. It sets things up in routes but then they end up going nowhere.

I was hoping that when I saw Broccoli's name on this it'd be ok. It's just SO messy. It looks VERY pretty but it feels super-unfocused and outright boring (best character in the most BORING route). This would've been a better game if it weren't a multiroute otome game!

I don't think this was bad? It reminded me a LOT of older otome games/shoujo (Pretear, Fushigi Yugi, etc) which actually is kind of a relief but I know that would bore folks since it is fluffy and there isn't a lot of spice. No cages here.

this game was underwhelming at the start.
it made me play final fantasy all the bravest; my husband looked at me like i was losing it.
I liked a few routes and it's pretty i guess. i feel like it was middling, but I hated the age gaps for some characters.

This is my first Inkle game since 80 Days. Felt at home since I played The Roottrees are Dead, but I will say the beginning is kinda rough. But it is so interesting and nicely presented that it was fun going down those rabbit holes. It's also short enough and doesn't overstay its welcome.

i did mouse/kb and i preferred it tbh. but it does work with a controller for sure.

i liked it. the start was kinda ROUGH like no joke cuz it's like "what am i even doin" but you kinda settle into it. I came off of Roottrees so it wasn't too bad settling in. I thought the rabbit hole i was exploring was interesting.

When I played this, I thought it was unique because it's a few stories about couples and they range from boring to "why do you want to put her in a cage?"
I was so bored! I would have preferred if it leaned in harder to being a josei anthology and the writing were better.

I am actually shocked by how high-budget the voice cast was?? I didn't expect it because the demo from 2023 was so low-budget and felt limited. Otherwise I think that it ended up being a decent adventure game. It DID help having some Japanese knowledge for some of the puzzles.
