I do remember it being as limited if not more, but there’s only so far my 2018 pro can go. Even programs that don’t have the hard limit coded in (csp, art studio) lag badly 😅

I’ve done the same and it runs so much better on my setup now, I wish we could have gotten these performance patches for previous versions as well! Really liking the changes otherwise.

I’ve tried IP and it seemed robust, plus I’ve seen people do insane things in it. It just didn’t click for me right away and I haven’t been back, but I might need a refresher 👀 unfortunately my ipad is a bit too old to handle the resolutions I need

To be honest, I feel like trying to replicate watercolour takes so much time I’d just rather do the real thing, but I do use those brushes extensively in combination with oils because they’re better at introducing soft detail ♥️ They’re not to be slept on, for sure!

Still testing the new rebelle to see if it could become my main software. I need to learn how to limit the amount of extra strokes and reign in unnecessary textures, but I think it's getting there.

I didn't realise that the metallics would shimmer this much in a timelapse ✨

photoshop, so as you can imagine I'm pretty desperate to find a decent replacement. 🥲

As much as I'd love to switch to CSP, Krita or even Procreate, I find they lack this specific "grit" to their brush processing that I need. It doesn't come as naturally in rebelle, but you can sooorta force it!
