How’s everyone doing? Did you have a good week?
We spent today with friends instead of doing schoolwork & I have decided that is okay.
My son is so happy. He got to have a play sword fight 🗡️ which was a first for him.
As an only child I love that he still gets to do this stuff on occasion.

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:
Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.

We’ve had a huge win lately with switching our curriculum to Build your library. We’re both enjoying it so much. We’re only partway through week 2, but it’s the most success we’ve had to date.

We’ve had a huge win lately with switching our curriculum to Build your library. We’re both enjoying it so much. We’re only partway through week 2, but it’s the most success we’ve had to date.

We’re using art prompts to spend an hour doing something creative in place of Quiet Time today. It’s finally above zero so we can use the sun room again, which is always a nice place to get creative. #homeschool
