I think it's genuinely facinating hoe some people in the "my body, my choice" crowd will turn around and shame someone for making the choice to carry a baby. You can not support a movement for bodily autonomy while shaming someone because you disagree with how they exercise it.

It really pisses me off how people will insist against gender affirming care for trans people who know what they want, yet will insist for surgery on intersex infants/children who had no say in the matter, as if they couldn't get the exact same affirming care later on in life.

Turns out that, for 2 years, my psychiatrist had no idea that I had trauma and that's why she was so hell bent on convincing me that I was just exaggerating and it was all anxiety.

I think it's really funny how I'm on therapist #7 or 8 after 12 years of being in the mental health system and am now seeing a therapist that seems to believe "I suspect to have some mental illnesses" means "I hate myself for being inherently different and anyone who disagrees with me is wrong".
